[ARRAY] x BigBrands x UNStudio
THE DRUM LIGHT
Commissioned by Big Brands, we designed a large circular light. UNStudio created a space for lectures and panel discussions for the Workspace Design Show, taking place on 5 and 6 November 2025 in RAI Amsterdam. They envisioned a large lamp as a central eye-catcher. In close collaboration with the architects and designers from UNStudio, we developed and produced this custom light object.
Designed to be lightweight, we created a drum-like construction. The main body is made of two 3mm acrylic panels connected by a flexible stainless steel strip. Inside, two RGBW LED strips shine towards the middle, resulting in a captivating glow. The color and intensity can be remotely controlled via a Bluetooth remote.
